Accordingly for us, the people of faith, our prime approach must be to devote ourselves to Allah (The Exalted) in any way possible. Thus, the best way is to supplicate to Allah after the night prayers (Tahajjud). Since that is the time when Allah (The Exalted) descends to the lowest heaven. Allah says, “Call upon me; I will respond to you…” (Surah Ghafir: 60). For this being the reason, supplicate to Allah frequently for anything.
For the people of Ruqya and the scholars, the most experienced and trusted way for recognizing magic is to supplicate after the night prayers (Tahajjud) to Allah to reveal the location of magic and its termination. It should be done by the patient and it is also encouraged that the exorciser act upon this as well.
However, if one recognises and locates the place of magic; that is the easiest way to terminate the effect of magic. For this reason, the people of Ruqya are experimenting various exorcisms with the exclusion of polytheism (Shirk). In addition to that, the result of experimenting may not be same every time for everyone. Thus, we share our experience, to explicate that this is not the only way possible, but there are different ways we can do this. For this as well, I will share with you some methods that I and some other people of Ruqya have experimented.
- For recognizing the location of magic by the recitation of an exorciser near a patient (the patient can also do this himself): If the patient is assured he is affected with black magic after the diagnosis, there is a method to identify which type of magic it is. It is, after being assured that the patient is affected by magic, whether the devil is present or not (this is encouraged in a situation when the devil is absent, but the patient is being irritated due to the recitation of Ruqya) repeat the supplications one at a time. Examine from which supplication the patient is being the most disturbed when it is recited repeatedly. After that, treat the person with the most corresponding manner.
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been fed to me.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the patient has been fed magic through food and the patient can then be treated by discarding the magic out of the body.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been buried.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic is buried.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been sprayed.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic has been done and sprayed which was in liquid form.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been done to the house.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic has been done to the house.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been done to the sea/which is in the sea.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic has been to the sea.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been done to the grave.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic has been done to the grave or the graveyard.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been done to the land.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic is being buried or somehow the magic is in the ground.)
Translation: “My Lord! Neutralise any magic which have been done to knots/inside the knots.” (When this supplication is being recited repeatedly and the patient is being more disturbed, then we can assume that the magic was done by tying knots.)
When these supplications are being recited, mark the supplications which is disturbing to the patient the most. Moreover, while treating, recite those supplications repeatedly. Thus, if it is assumed that the magic was done to the house, then recite to water and spray it to the house to invalidate the magic. In addition to that, when the patient is staying near the threshold of doors, corners or places suspected for magic in his house and the magic is located these places, it is noticed that the patient is being more disturbed. After recognising these places, recite and spray water separately to these locations. If the magic is being done in any of these forms, even if the magic is not found, use treatment for magic
2. The patient should often recite the following verses repeatedly. It is encouraged to recite these verses when the patient is about to sleep. After reciting the verses, supplicate to Allah to reveal the location of magic. When acted accordingly, the location of magic have been revealed in dreams. Repeat this regularly.
Translation:
- And with Him are the keys of the unseen; none knows them except Him. And He knows what is on the land and in the sea. Not a leaf falls but that He knows it. And no grain is there within the darkness of the earth and no moist or dry [thing] but that it is [written] in a clear record.
- They (angels) said: “Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what you have taught us. Verily, it is You, the All-Knower, the All-Wise.”
- Say you, He is Allah, the one. (1) Allah the Independent, Care free. (2) He begot none’ nor was He begotten. (3) And nor anyone is equal to Him. (4)
- Say you, ‘I take refuge with the Lord of Daybreak. (1) From the evil of all creatures; (2) And from the evil of the darkening one when it sets. (3) And from the evil of those women who blow in the knots. (4) And from the evil of the envier when he envies me. (5)
- Say: “I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind, (1) “The King of mankind, (2) “TheIlah (God) of mankind, (3) “From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one’s heart after one remembers Allah) (4) “Who whispers in the breasts of mankind, (5) “Of jinns and men.” (6)
Allah knows best the location of magic. Allah says, “…and the magician will never be successful, no matter whatever amount (of skill) he may attain.”(20:69). Thus, have hope in Allah. With that, continue treatment, rely upon Allah and increase your supplications and prayers to Allah. This is not the only method of treatment for these forms of magic. Moreover, these are not the only verses one can use for treatment. We have explained this to assist you with our experiments. We remind you that this is not obligatory upon anyone. Allah is the only Curer. Only with Allah is the knowledge of the unseen. We only know what He reveals. Thus, we ask only Allah for help.
