Do not invalidate magic by using magic!

Alas! This is the situation of Maldives today. This is the bitter result of not making people Islamically aware, yet we are trying to make both Islam and Dhivehi subjects optional. Is it because we comprehend religious matters thoroughly? However, consider the following event. How many of these events are currently ongoing in the Maldives. It is guaranteed that if good Islamic education had been given to this society, people wouldn’t have fallen into such major disbelief. Rather than having Islam and Dhivehi subjects as an option, we must include Islamic Law, belief in the articles of Faith, the Islamic monotheism and necessary amount of knowledge a Muslim is required to know in the syllabus of Islam subject. I call to legislate a law to make Islam subject compulsory to all schools and universities.

 

Sometime yesterday I answered a phone call. It was a 32 year old woman.  She was asking me to exorcise for her due to critical signs she was suffering from sorcery. However, I went to her house last night with another brother of mine. From her response to our questions we came o know that she have been suffering from sorcery for 8 years now. “My body is emitting extreme heat, my head feels heavy… people hate me, I cannot succeed in anything… the symptoms got worse after my husband divorced me, we got divorced all of a sudden after having few problems… I believe we even got divorced due to magic” explained the woman. I diagnosed her using the Quran. True, she was effected with Magic of separation and Magic of blockage. I was certain about it. Before I diagnosed her, I asked her to remove any amulets she is wearing. She had 3 amulets worn around her waist. I diagnosed her after she had removed all the amulets.

 

She had gone to various people and done many things to invalidate the magic. She also confessed that another exorcist wrote on her body and chest. This is the situation! When we are effected with magic or sickness, we are unaware of what’s right and wrong when exorcising. This is a very dangerous issue for the reason that, without knowing we fall into major disbelief through uncertainty. In the name of permissible exorcism, people who delude the society into disbelief and magic have increased. Most of us are religiously unaware of the preventive measures for oneself if effected with magic and it’s like. Or people are uneducated about this issue. I opened and examined the amulets which were removed from her waist. I would like to share it in public.

This is a written incantation in one of the amulets. Watch carefully. The letters are separately written. It is forbidden in Islam and when it is written like this, it becomes a magic. The reason is, it will be carried on by the devil. There are numbers written inside the drawn grid. Who knows what it is? Drawing grids in this pattern is an act of sorcery. Moreover, it is a major act of disbelief in Allah. Then how can these acts be permissible? People who have such actions are called sorcerers. Do not consult them to cure anything. The reason is that invalidating magic by using magic is forbidden in Islam. It is major disbelief in Allah.

This is the written incantation in the second amulet. Polytheistic wordings are written by using the Holy Quran. Observe the grid clearly. In the grid is written polytheistic supplications in the name of something else other than Allah. For example, Gabriel and Michael are written in the grid. It is an act of polytheism and seeking help from others rather than asking Allah.

This is the written incantation in the third amulet. There are polytheistic writings in this one too as mentioned in the earlier amulets.

 

O people! Wake up! Obey Allah completely. Attain the knowledge of Quran and Sunnah and keep your actions according to the religion Islam. When afflicted by magic, do not seek help from sorcerers. Palm readers and soothsayers are all sorcerers. It is said by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that people who believe what these sorcerers say, their prayers won’t be accepted for 40 days. Thus, consider the evil of this by yourself. Treat yourself with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when afflicted with magic. Invalidate the magic by acting upon permissible Islamic laws. Then only can you find refuge. Not under any condition invalidate magic by using magic. It will only bring you harm and loss.

 

Allah says in the Quran:

SurahAl-Baqara, Verse 102:

وَاتَّبَعُوا مَا تَتْلُوا الشَّيَاطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمَانَ وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمَانُ وَلَٰكِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ كَفَرُوا يُعَلِّمُونَ النَّاسَ السِّحْرَ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى الْمَلَكَيْنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوتَ وَمَارُوتَ وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَا إِنَّمَا نَحْنُ فِتْنَةٌ فَلَا تَكْفُرْ فَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مِنْهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُونَ بِهِ بَيْنَ الْمَرْءِ وَزَوْجِهِ وَمَا هُم بِضَارِّينَ بِهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَيَتَعَلَّمُونَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمْ وَلَا يَنفَعُهُمْ وَلَقَدْ   عَلِمُوا لَمَنِ اشْتَرَاهُ مَا لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ مِنْ خَلَاقٍ وَلَبِئْسَ مَا شَرَوْا بِهِ أَنفُسَهُمْ لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿١٠٢ ﴾

“They followed what the Shayatin (devils) gave out (falsely of the magic) in the lifetime of Sulaiman (Solomon). Sulaiman did not disbelieve, but the Shayatin (devils) disbelieved, teaching men magic and such things that came down at Babylon to the two angels, Harut and Marut, but neither of these two (angels) taught anyone (such things) till they had said, “We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us).” And from these (angels) people learn that by which they cause separation between man and his wife, but they could not thus harm anyone except by Allah’s Leave. And they learn that which harms them and profits them not. And indeed they knew that the buyers of it (magic) would have no share in the Hereafter. And how bad indeed was that for which they sold their own selves, if they but knew.”
